RideShare RoadTalk: Conversations In Motion

Penis Molding? Wait, What Do You Do for a Living?

Foundation Digital Media Episode 35

What starts as a quiet DC rideshare chat takes a sharp left into “Wait—what do you do for a living?” territory. Our guest, raised in Northern Virginia by way of Iran, breaks down culture, identity, and what it means to straddle two worlds—then casually drops that she used to, well… shape penises for a living.

From Persian pride to progressive medicine, we cover it all: the power of humor, the weight of belonging, and the unspoken art of molding things just right. Once we enter the clinic, it’s a masterclass in urology meets reality—numbing cream, careful sculpting, and the delicate balance between self-improvement and “maybe just let it heal first, bro.”

We talk money, expectations, and those tricky intersections where medicine meets vanity. There are cautionary tales, a very patient spouse, and one clear moral of the story: most bodies are perfectly fine—no extra molding required.

It’s smart, funny, and just the right amount of uncomfortable.

SPEAKER_01:

Welcome to another episode of Ride Chair Road Talk: Conversations in Motion. A podcast where we create unfiltered talk space that examines the meaningful lives of my passengers while engaging in personal and topical discussions. I'm your host and driver, John Fodis. And we're cruising the streets of Washington, D.C. Buckle up. Let's drive. Tell me about you. Where is home for you originally?

SPEAKER_00:

Well, I grew up in Northern Virginia, but I was born in Iran.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay. Two things.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_01:

We cannot be friends. The whole Virginia thing. I just can't.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, Maryland?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I just can't deal with people from I just can't. The valley I like. Middleburg, sure.

SPEAKER_00:

But first of all, Northern Virginia is not the rest of Virginia. I need to clarify that.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Also, Maryland.

SPEAKER_01:

I know. Don't feel bad. It was over before it started. You couldn't help it. It's okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Where in Maryland?

SPEAKER_01:

Like Rockville-ish area. Forgive me for that. Um. I've had lots of Iranian friends.

SPEAKER_00:

Um there's a lot of us here.

SPEAKER_01:

Fascinating culture. Beautiful culture. Very much maligned unfairly in this country out of ignorance.

SPEAKER_00:

Unfortunately.

SPEAKER_01:

Really, really interesting place. I've never been.

SPEAKER_00:

I wouldn't say go. No. But I w I haven't gone. But I would love to visit since moving. I think it's a beautiful country.

SPEAKER_01:

Do you have family there now?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I've got some really close family there. That's cool. I would love to go back one day.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Soon, hopefully.

SPEAKER_01:

But isn't that fascinating? Just like this you have this, I mean, I'm not the expert, but you have this undercurrent of progressiveness. This ancient culture that's contributed math, science, literature, everything. But it's been suppressed by this, you know, government. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Theology. Really.

SPEAKER_00:

And despite our government, Iranian people are very, very progressive for the most part.

SPEAKER_01:

No, for sure, for sure. And the women, oh my god.

SPEAKER_00:

Culturally speaking, especially compared to like a lot of like neighboring countries, we can't, especially as women, like what Iranian women are like, can and the things they can do in our country can't be compared to a lot of our neighboring countries. Like government aside, culturally, we're very a lot of strong women and a lot of very strong personalities and ideologies for sure.

SPEAKER_01:

I would not disagree with that. There's definitely some empowerment there compared to some other um cultures in in the Middle East in that area.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, which is unf of course unfortunate. Like they also have experienced a lot of like.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. But maybe that's the benefit of technically being Persian and not Arabic, right?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. So And again, I think that all, again, it's very like systemic and it's like a suspicious cycle. So I can't even fault them. Um because there is like something to be said about Arabic colonialism that has spanned like millenniums.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

But yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_01:

I had a really good friend of mine who is Iranian. And you know, the typical story: the mom immigrated, the kids came with her, and the dad left, you know, whatever the stat backstory was. And sh this was like in the early 80s. So I'm dating myself, obviously. High school. She hated us. She hated us. And we were good kids, but it was just stranger in a strange land, interesting, conservative family values, and all of a sudden her son is becoming Americanized. And yeah, it was really in in hindsight, interesting. It was very transparent.

SPEAKER_00:

But huh? That is very unique because I feel like most of Iranians, I know, once they come to America, they're like, we're here. If you ask my dad, he's damn near blonde.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, that's so funny. Like that's so funny. Okay, so we know where you're from now. What are you doing here? What's what's your world like um like in DC?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. I'm a medical assistant right now. I'm waiting to uh hear back from medical schools.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, I work at an OBGYN clinic, which is funny because before this I used to work at a urology clinic. So it's like a running joke that I've covered I've covered the genitals all around.

SPEAKER_01:

I have questions and comments. Go for it. I am cursed.

SPEAKER_00:

I love him.

SPEAKER_01:

Fucking kidney stones.

SPEAKER_00:

See, no, no, no. This is not that kind of urology clinic. This urology, she was a your gynecologist, but she did a lot of penile enhancement procedures.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay. You're starting this, not me.

SPEAKER_00:

So I'm gonna love this is like everyone's favorite story to tell bottom.

SPEAKER_01:

What are the latest techniques and enhancements?

SPEAKER_00:

A lot of fillers. Lots and lots of fillers, and it actually works in case you were wondering.

SPEAKER_01:

You're gonna have to again, I didn't start this. You did. Please don't go.

SPEAKER_00:

We numb the penis. Okay. There's this like long needle, which doesn't hurt because you numb it. And my job was to numb it. And she goes in with the filler, and you choose how many syringes you want. It was pricey. She did not take insurance. And I don't think insurance would have covered it anyway. And then you she puts the syringes in, and then after she did it, my job would be to come mold it, and then I'm sorry, mold what? The filler around the penis.

SPEAKER_01:

So you have to manipulate said.

SPEAKER_00:

Just make sure it's like there are no clumps and make sure it's all like evened out, and then you're like, you're like doing dough prep in a pizza place, but with a penis. Basically. Okay. Basically, you're molding the penis. You were like the men were not supposed to have sex for two weeks, which a lot of times they would not listen because you want to try it out. You want to need to yeah, but you need to let it sit, set. Like they would come through. We literally had this one patient who came and referred to his penis as Frank and Dick because he had sex after the penis didn't like this filler didn't set, so it all had migrated like really wonky. So his penis was like really wonky looking.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay, I have questions. More I have more questions.

SPEAKER_00:

Ask all the questions.

SPEAKER_01:

Are we talking girth enhancement or length?

SPEAKER_00:

For the most part, it's girth, but gravity is also there. So it also does, also your body does respond to this increase in size, so it starts regenerating cells, so it like kind of like naturally also enhances it. Oh my god. But it was mostly girth. But also, we had this one patient whose wife came with them and she was basically begging us like not to do anymore. Because she was like, Ouch, this is not fun anymore. But the guy was like, No, I want I want this certain size, like I want this to happen. And we're like, You're paying for it.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh okay.

SPEAKER_00:

She literally told this patient, she was like, You're a human, not a horse. And he was like, No, I want it anyway. And he got it, and then he called us like four days later, and he was like, My dick doesn't fit in my pants anymore. And I was like, We told you. And I always obviously was the one fielding all the calls, and I was like, Listen, we told you. We told you this was bad calls.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay, and in your personal uh opinion, are these guys like legitimate candidates or are they just ego freaks and are just doing it to do it? Like, are they okay?

SPEAKER_00:

Some of them were, I was like, sure, I could use a couple of syringes, but honestly, most of them just had more money than sins. I'm gonna be honest. Some of them genuinely, I was like, sure, you could use them, but some of them was like, what could you pause? Also, when you see enough penises, which I did, I saw like six penises a day, five days a week. How do your parents feel about this, but they didn't they love the story, they told all their friends. Uh-huh. My parents, my mom, they were also like like my mom, the only person she's ever been with has been my dad.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm sorry, I missed our turn.

SPEAKER_00:

So that's alright. I don't mind.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I mean, we're we are just so far beyond the rules and traffic laws now.

SPEAKER_00:

My mom, um, the only person she's been with is my dad is my dad. Same with all the other women in my family. And they just loved well, they loved and hate. I would just that would be like, so what else did you learn? I would just tell them everything.

SPEAKER_01:

So they're like salespeople for the procedure now.

SPEAKER_00:

My parents? Yeah. Well no, they're more like who the fuck would do that and why, but tell us more. Also, um, I was in charge of the pictures on the website, so I would do the before and after pictures, so I would always show my parents the pictures. My parents are very easygoing. They're not usually the norm for any parents of any race. They're very, very chill.

SPEAKER_01:

Wow.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, but yeah, I learned a lot. Um and after you see so many penises, you learn Honestly, most of them look the same. I think there's a lot of stigma around penis size, and I think there's I feel bad for a lot of men. Because frankly, most of y'all look the same. I don't think I can't think of any like penises that stick out in my head after that experience. And now I do OBGYN, and same with vaginas. Like, they all kind of all look the same.

SPEAKER_01:

Like, it's not like in in in the funnel that is med school, I want to know like what drives someone to be like a proc like a proctologist. Like, really to ma'am or whatever. Like, that's really money. Really? I don't know.

SPEAKER_00:

That woman was making hella money. Let me tell you. Well, I mean What's a proctologist?

SPEAKER_01:

It's a butt doctor.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, I didn't know that. Oh, yeah. Literally didn't know that was yeah, just right? Um money. But let me tell you, a lot of it comes back to because I know the doctor I worked with, she was a great eurogynecologist. Like, as a euro gynecologist, her patients were so happy. As a dick doctor, I mean, as a dick doctor, her patients were also happy, but like how much are we talking for said? One month, she made$400,000.

SPEAKER_01:

Like a procedure. If I go in there, what's it gonna cost me?

SPEAKER_00:

Around, I would say, depending on how many syringes you get, 10 to 20 grand.

SPEAKER_01:

No, no, no, no, no. That's never gonna happen.

SPEAKER_00:

But it did.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, but it does. I'm just saying, for me, I just don't understand, but no, no.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. It I know that would be my reaction too. I was like, why do we why do we need this? But they did.

SPEAKER_01:

And you know, like we should call my wife, like, live right now, like on the phone during the podcast, and get her opinion. But we don't have enough time. You have a minute.

SPEAKER_00:

I'll wait. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_01:

She might be sleeping.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, but don't wake her up.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh my god, stop honking at me. Okay, we're gonna try this.

SPEAKER_00:

Don't wake her up if she wants. But I'll wait.

SPEAKER_01:

This will be fine.

SPEAKER_00:

Now I'm kind of like, I told you I would have a good story for you.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh my god, yeah. We're breaking new boundaries. Hold on one second. Where are we going?

SPEAKER_00:

It's right here, but just been a weird night for me. You have your wife by just her initial on your phone?

SPEAKER_01:

She's Egyptian.

SPEAKER_00:

But just her initial? Are you Egyptian?

SPEAKER_01:

No, I'm Greek.

SPEAKER_00:

She's asleep torting.

SPEAKER_01:

If we get the voicemail, just say hello.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

And then we're talking about dick procedures. She'll get so mad.

SPEAKER_00:

She's gonna be like, why did you wake me up for this? Exactly. Like, there's better more important. She's forwarded to voicemail. What's her name? Please record the message. Narmin.

SPEAKER_01:

Narmeen! It's me. Everything's fine. Hey, we're doing the podcast like right now, and I'm with a passenger. We were gonna play a joke on you because she works for like a penis doctor that does like enlargement procedures. And we just want to see what your feelings were about that. But since you're sleeping and you will not be partaking, um, missed opportunity. Oh wow.

SPEAKER_00:

She hung up.

SPEAKER_01:

She hung up?

SPEAKER_00:

She was I actually don't know.

SPEAKER_01:

No, I think that's like automatically. You're really sweet for playing along, by the way.

SPEAKER_00:

Very welcome. Please actually redact my name because I could get in trouble.

SPEAKER_01:

That's true. No, I would never put that out there.

SPEAKER_00:

But it was so nice meeting you. Yeah. You get many. Where is your door handle?

SPEAKER_01:

Everyone struggles with stick your hand in there and oh, whoa, weird.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, sorry too. It was so nice meeting you. Have a great day.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely. Take care. Well.

unknown:
